My boyfriend and I worked with Brandon Arel to look for apartments in East Boston. I have had poor experience with other brokers in Boston before (they don’t respond, they’re rude or pushy, they do the bare minimum and still expect a fee, etc). But we were so pleasantly surprised with Brandon’s broker service! He was very responsive and provided us with a great list of apartments in the area that met our specific needs. He was never pushy with us and was actually very honest about the different apartments and amenities they offered. 10/10!

Like most people looking in Boston right now, we found the experience rather demoralizing. After being significantly outbid on a condo we had our hopes on, we basically gave up, thinking it wasn't going to happen for us. Having seen many others find the right place even in this very competitive market, Allison didn't give up on us. In fact, she told us the off-season is sometimes the best time to buy and kept sending us places that might work, one of which seemed too perfect. We saw it, put in an offer and it was accepted! Allison's persistence and optimism helped us get our dream home. A few other great things about working with Allison. She is extremely responsive, flexible with our difficult schedules (often helping to schedule a showing outside of open houses), and she works hard to make sure the deal goes through. I put lower marks on local knowledge only because she hadn't worked in JP before and wasn't as familiar with the area. After seeing so many places in JP with us this is probably no longer true. She has extensive knowledge of other areas in Boston, especially Charlestown.

I ended up working with Jalexis to rent out my place. The apartment required quite a bit of work, but she was always super responsive to my many questions and asks. She did an excellent job and I was very happy with the results. I highly recommend Jalexis if you need a great realtor you can trust.
